I'm RAFAELA ROSA

I started my journey in design when I was living in Buenos Aires. While still working in the corporate sector, I started designing characters and developing scripts. This growing passion brought me back to Brazil, where I graduated in Animation Design from IBMR University in 2024.

 

Since 2021, I have been working in all stages of creative process — pre-production, production, and post-production. Currently, I offer services in Art Direction, Concept Art Creation, 2D and 3D Design, Motion Design, Frame by Frame Animation, Paper Cut-Out Animation, Illustration, Graphic Design, Storyboard, and Animatics.

 

My portfolio showcases creative versatility, featuring commercial and institutional works that adapt to each client's unique style, as well as artistic projects where I have more creative freedom, allowing my personal style to shine through. In my personal projects, you’ll see textures and lines that reflect a Naïve style, along with themes that explore animals and elements of nature in various forms. Several of the short films in this portfolio were fully created by me, from the script to the animation, in a handcrafted process that emphasizes the simplicity behind complex techniques.
